Interning with 'Weaver's Studio', under the guidance of Darshan Shah helped me develop my skills of fabric construction and fabric ornamentation. Working with their production unit 'Rangeen' i absorbed a lot from the skilled staff present there about the technicalities of block printing, screen printing, and weaving.
The only brief given to me before commencement :
The designs created should have a rhythm of muted kitsch.

For my internship project i hence designed block prints on Tussar fabric, screen prints on Georgette fabric and handmade stoles in natural dyes for their commercial and wholesale clients.
